Trees, Contemporary Landscape Paintings by Arizona Artist Amy Whitehouse

16" x 20", Oil on Canvas
This painting was created with R & F pigment sticks,
a wonderful medium that feels like you're playing with lipstick
on canvas.
Yummy, juicy, vibrant colors emerge quickly
which can then be brushed, scraped, paper-toweled, and rubbed with
fingertips.
I always LOVED finger painting when I was young, and still do very much.
This landscape could be anywhere it takes you, so I'm not going to give it
a particular locale.

This painting is a "give-away" because I cannot ethically sell it,
I based it on another artist's work, and need to find the name of that artist,
so as to give credit where credit is due.

  1. Wow Amy! Such happy vibrancy! I love what these lipsticks inspired...

Now what will be your original creation with them? I look forward to seeing.

Take Time to Play

Oil on Canvas, 30" x 24" Blues and Greens go so well together, don't they? This painting depicts a playful attitude - at least...
