Florida, Seascape and Landscape Paintings by Arizona Artist Amy Whitehouse

6" x 8" Oil on Canvas Panel, $150

This abstract seascape has lots of texture which speaks of the
sensual, earthy feel of spending time at the ocean.
Though this is not a new piece, it is one of my favorites.
Having done an art fair today to introduce children
to collage on canvas,
I couldn't paint today.

If interested in purchasing this little piece,

What I have been doing for the past six weeks
while not posting, is monoprinting.
This has become a fascinating method of
creating art, and it takes a little less time
than painting.  I like to think that
one discipline only helps the other.

Below are a couple of recent monoprints:

Forest Dreams
8" x 10" Monoprint, $95

Dogwood Hope
8" x 10" Monoprint, $95

Take Time to Play

Oil on Canvas, 30" x 24" Blues and Greens go so well together, don't they? This painting depicts a playful attitude - at least...
