Tea Time, Still Life Paintings by Arizona Artist Amy Whitehouse

16" x 20" Oil, $350
This scene makes me think of my genteel great-aunts,
Jenny Ray and Florence Clark,
and a particular visit I had as a girl.
I was over at Aunt Florence's home,
probably around 1959...and it was tea time.
She asked if I would like lemon or milk in my cup of tea,
and I responded "both."
Aunt Florence said that would not be good,
but I was confidently insistent.
Learned my lesson!

  1. Cute story. See, there is wisdom in age. Flowers are pretty as well.

Take Time to Play

Oil on Canvas, 30" x 24" Blues and Greens go so well together, don't they? This painting depicts a playful attitude - at least...
