Rough Waters, Monoprints in Acrylic by Amy Whitehouse

6" x 6" Monoprint, $125
This past week I have been teaching my sixth grade students monoprinting. They are loving this process, and thrilled with their results.
So in my free time this week, I've been working on monoprints, too. Fields, mountains, lakes, and of course, the ocean. This is my favorite one from this week's output.
Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing this one.

Trees Catch Sunlight, Contemporary Landscape Paintings by Amy Whitehouse

6" x 6" x 3/4" $95 Acrylic
Northern Arizona has an abundance of  aspen. This is a miniature sized painting, and would look  fine on a small easel or propped on a book shelf.

Paintbrushes, Contemporary Still Life Paintings by Amy Whitehouse

Birch Trees, Contemporary Monoprint by Amy Whitehouse

6" x 6" Monoprint, $65
We've had more of a winter than usual here in Arizona this year. Just a little over an hour north of Phoenix, the birch trees are bare, the air is still, and one can often spot a snowman left behind to entertain passers-by.
This simple depiction of the birch trees evokes the feel of winter in Northern Arizona and elsewhere, I hope.
