48"x24", $600
I wanted to try to imagine on canvas the scene of Bethlehem 2000 years ago. Looking up photos online, I saw that there are low hills there. I used a variety of printed tissue papers as my surface treatment including Happy Birthday, Christmas trees, Santas, etc. Then I used acrylic paints to depict the scene. I can only imagine what the Magi saw and how they followed that star.
