Serenity, Contemporary Still LIfe Paintings by Arizona Artist Amy Whitehouse

16" x 20" Acrylic on Canvas, $600

Moving toward more abstract work,
as well as intuitive painting.
It calls for a bit of courage on my part,
as so many of my art friends can be a bit
disdainful of abstract art.
Actually it's harder than representational painting,
but we don't know that until we try our hand at abstraction.

  1. I think it's lovely Amy and it could easily be one of the marketed canvas prints you see at places like Bed Bath and Beyond. It would be a lovely decorative piece to accent a room. Nicely done!
