Sunset after Turner


Oil on Canvas, 11" x 14" $300

I have lately been exploring different palettes by the Masters.
I chose four palettes and used one basic composition
in order to clearly see what a difference a palette can make.
This is the second one.
Turner used tints, tones, and grays; also he didn't have whites
in his finished pieces. That would have taken away 
the intensity of his focal point. At least I think that's the reason.
