I started painting this one while we were

still living in a rental house.

We made the big move to

our own home (YAY)

and I finished the painting there.

It's interesting to see some 

recent life struggles

as well as recent joys 

in this work.

Amazing how our artwork

can mirror what's happening

in our personal lives.

As an abstract, this painting can be hung

in any of four orientations.

I enjoy taking an old painting 

and choosing a "background" color, 

such as this blue-green gray,

and painting the negative space

to make an irregular grid.
