11"x14" Acrylic on Stretched Canvas, $500This was so much fun to paint, a minimum of strokes to keep it simple, some knife work and gold iridescent paint in the background. The mama bird in our ficus tree hatched 2 babies today - right by the front door. I love that she (or someone who looks just like her!) comes to our tree every spring to build a new nest. She keeps a sharp eye on us as we enter and leave the front door.
