Rock Wall

Acrylic on Heavy Watercolor Paper, 6" x 6"
$75

Lately I've been exploring the palette of
light ultramarine blue, yellow oxide, pyrrole red,
titanium white, and blue Stabilo pencil.
Applying paint in shapes that seem to form themselves,
adding some transparency for depth,
providing a pathway via the white areas -
mostly this happens intuitively.
Sometimes I have to study and ask if it's finished.
Mostly I just have fun playing with paint
and feeling happy when the outcome looks pleasing.
